The figures we can evidence — and the ones we cannot.
Most impact pages are a wall of large round numbers with a plus sign carrying the weight. This one publishes what our records actually support and leaves the rest blank until they do. That is a less impressive page and a more useful one.

Why two of these are blank
Because we cannot yet stand behind a number for them. We could estimate — every organisation our size could, and most do — but an estimate printed next to a donation button is a figure somebody may give money on the strength of.
They will be filled in when the underlying records support them, and when they are, this page will say where each one came from. If you need a figure before then, ask us and we will tell you exactly what we do and do not know.
How we are accountable
What you can check without taking our word for it
Registered, and checkable
A registered society under the 1973 Act with an NGO DARPAN identity issued by NITI Aayog. The registration certificate and the DARPAN record are both published on the transparency page — not described there, published there.
Governed by a committee, not a person
Decisions on programmes and spending sit with the governing committee. The society is named after one man’s values; it is not run as one man’s project.
What we will not claim
No invented beneficiary counts, no partner logos for organisations that have not partnered with us, and no photographs of work that is not ours. Every image on this site was taken by our own team.
Measurement is a work in progress
We are a small society and our record-keeping is improving rather than finished. Where a number is not yet reliable, this site says so instead of estimating one.
